So far this year, things are looking good. I've been sticking to the 365 challenge (although, we're only 17 days in, so I guess time will tell) and created some fun images. I've also been preparing to do some awesome, fun shoots (if this rain ever lifts... -_-). I've even managed to get a glam dress store and a nail technician involved. Now to see if I can find a hairdresser and a make-up artist...
So here's where I am. I've been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. However, we live in an age of technology, so I guess most people have been. I think the only difference really is passion. I'm passionate about people (and strangely enough, clouds), so I love to photograph them. At first it was just a fun thing and slowly it evolved. Now I want to capture things, moments. A deep, private thought etched on a face, love, the persons soul and also, who they, at their best, could be. I want to capture dreams and hopes. I've been reading a series called Fast-Track Photographer and... WOW!!! It's amazing! I feel as though I finally understand where I'm going and how to get there. I don't want to be like any other photographer (and who is anyway?), and this book has just helped me to understand who I am and to develop my style.
Here's what I've realized: I want to capture Cinderella moments, but times have changed, and I am a product of that, as are you. My style reflects this. So, I'll be capturing modern, edgy Cinderella moments and somehow, hopefully, be able to keep my images, my art, a timeless, elegant piece...
